  • Canadian Youth Climate Coalition
    In September 2006, 48 youth organizations from across Canada came together to form the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition - to stand united for a sane climate future. This non-partisan coalition is demanding immediate and meaningful action on climate change by governmental and private sector leaders. Founding members of the Coalition include labour unions, indigenous groups, green energy groups, student unions, environmental groups, faith-based groups and more.

    The Centre for Integral Economics promotes innovative economic tools and policies that redirect the powerful influence of the marketplace toward sustainability. Working with business, government and non-profit partners, the Centre encourages innovative strategies that reconcile economic prosperity, social justice and environmental integrity.

    Check Your Head (CYH) is a youth driven organization located in Vancouver.   • Spirit Bear Youth Coalition
    The spirit or white Kermode bear is as unique to the world as the Panda and equally as threatened. For more than a decade, the youth-run Spirit Bear Youth Coalition has worked to unite the world in the quest to protect the last intact habitat of the rare white bear that numbers fewer than 200 and lives only on Canada's west coast. Today, the global network of more than six million has helped protect two-thirds of this habitat and is currently producing a forthcoming animated Hollywood movie to protect the final third.

    Youth.gc.ca is all about helping youth 15 to 30 years of age. The site was created in 2002 by a group called Virtual Youth Canada in conjunction with 18 Federal partners. It offers youth advice on education, health, sports and finding work or starting a business.
